I recommend you get in touch with the developer and try to negotiate
some more. It is not a good way of doing business for AppFresh to
"stop using an AppFresh-specific user agent (...) to ensure user
happiness". If a developer does not want others to keep his app up-to-
date, then third parties should respect that. You should make that
clear, and should also make it clear that there are other developers
who think the same way.
Of course, they're free to tell the user to complain to you about
unavailability in AppFresh.
