That is true, but I guess to play Devil's Advocate, I would guess that the
vast majority of Sparkle user's don't even interact with the source control
system usually. They download a release and so on. Or, the next step might
simply pull down the HEAD version, and it's pretty easy to tell them to do
"git clone http://..." instead of "svn export ..." etc. For the few who
actually do dev work on it, I'd guess it would really be their call as to
what will help them best continue the development of Sparkle. If it were
me, I'd be making that same move, as it will dramatically enhance
productivity, features, and so on.
