Um, the best way to do that is to release 1.2.

Or, document HEAD. But that would be making a release, wouldn't it?

Really, there are a number of users who don't like living on the  
bleeding edge. (Even if that number is 1, which I know is the lower  
bound.) Please make an actual release.
