[Sparkle] updates in progress

Hi,
Im sort of new to Sparkle. I have it installed and working in one of  
my apps, but the app I am using has a NSTimer which displays a dialog  
when there is no activity... I am wondering if there is something I  
can check to see if Sparkle is performing an update to stop this  
behavior from taking place. I saw that there is something to alert  
when its ready to relaunch and install, but I need something that  
alerts whenever it finds a new update and alerts the user...
