[Sparkle] Errors when using Sparkle 1.5b1 to check for update under 10.4

I'm getting an error when I try and check for updates under 10.4 using
Sparkle 1.5b1.

I get a generic message that says:

Sparkle Error: An error occurred retrieving update information. Please
try again later
Sparkle Error (continued) : An error occurred while parsing the update feed.

I'm not having seeing problems like this on on 10.5.

I'm using Feeder to generate the appcast and it works if I use Sparkle 1.1.
