[Sparkle] Removing old application, permissions

Hi,

I have this probably not so uncommon problem, my application has a  
kext located on the inside which is then chowned to root:wheel so  
when a user gets a update it fails to install the update.

So this of course ends up with users trying to download the file 10  
times until they notice it wont work which of course has just used  
10times the resources of my server, so is there a way to make Sparkle  
either make sure it owns all the files its about to change (bring up  
auth box if it can not, so it can own them again) then change the files?
