[Sparkle] All my Sparkle-updated apps are not working

when running hditul, sparkle does the following:

/usr/bin/env hdiutil blah blah blah

try running env alone and seeing what it spits out. I suspect that
your environment vars are broken somehow, and no actually able to find
hdiutil or tar, etc.
