[Sparkle] Notification when sparkle alerts are about to show

Hi all,

Sparkle is working nicely on the current application, I am just
looking at adding it to an older app.
One problem I have is that this older app has a window which is often
floating in front, when the sparkle alerts are showing they are
appearing behind this window, with unfortunate consequences.

is it possible to receive a notification before any alert is shown by
sparkle?  if I were to receive one on display and one on hide for each
alert I could easily hide and show the floating window in response.

does anyone have any alternate suggestions?
