[Sparkle] All my Sparkle-updated apps are not working

Hi

Sorry if this is not the appropriate place to post this but I don't  
know where else to ask for help.  All the apps I have installed that  
use Sparkle are no longer updating.

In console.log, Shiira reports this:
env: hdiutil: No such file or directory

Cyberduck reports this:
sh: line 1: tar: command not found
2007-07-23 11:35:13.280 Cyberduck[327] The update archive didn't  
contain an application with the proper name: Cyberduck.app. Remember,  
the updated app's file name must be identical to {CFBundleName}.app

and Vienna reports this:
sh: line 1: ditto: command not found
2007-07-23 11:41:18.972 Vienna[330] The update archive didn't contain  
an application with the proper name: Vienna.app. Remember, the  
updated app's file name must be identical to {CFBundleName}.app

(I'm fairly, but not 100%, sure that the sh lines are due to Sparkle.)

Vienna gives this message in the GUI: "Vienna does not have  
permission to write to the application's directory! Are you running  
off a disk image? If not, ask your system administrator for help."

I don't understand, because I'm logged in as an administrator and  
I've recently repaired permissions (nothing to do with /Applications  
was broken).  Any idea what is going wrong?
