[Sparkle] Sparkle behavior with non-admin accounts?

Hi.  My app Vienna <http://vienna-rss.sourceforge.net/vienna2.php>  
uses Sparkle 1.1 for updates.  I got a report from a user <http:// 
forums.cocoaforge.com/viewtopic.php?t=16028> who said that updating  
failed from a non-admin account.  The app is presumably in the "/ 
Applications" folder.  When attempting to update, the user got an  
error message but was never asked to authenticate.  Is this expected  
behavior?  I couldn't find any information in the Trac.  I'm not  
making a feature request here; I just want to know what to tell the  
user.  Thanks!
