Yeah, I'll probably just go ahead and do this. Probably don't need an  
option.

I like this idea a lot. But I still don't like stuff getting in the  
way of quitting the app—I hate it when I click Restart and Safari is  
like "hey do you want to close all these tabs" and iTunes is like "hey  
but there's a badger connected to your library" and so on.

How about just if there's an update, offer at once; otherwise, do it  
on second launch? I'd have the text be different in the first case,  
too: "Welcome to MyApp! There's a newer version available right now;  
Sparkle Update will keep it and other supported apps on your system up  
to date. Would you like install it and update MyApp?"
